Since, 1st October, 2010, Equality and Diversity Impact Assessments and Single Equality Schemes are now going to be a necessity for most organisations as the current Government puts greater emphasis on commercial transparency and promotion of E&D in all areas of public procurement and public partnerships. It is mandatory for all to adhere to the latest legislation and understand the threat of legal action if they fail to adhere to the new Equality legislation.
