CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY

Learn about the materials and technologies used on site as well as the role and impact of regulations and directives. Includes functions of buildings, forms of construction, performance of buildings, basic beam design, column design, continous slab and beam design, formwork, foundations, cross wall construction, Insitu RC, introduction to RC slabs, laminated timber frames, metal decking, structural steel frames, plant and equipment, fire protection, sustainability, introduction to CDM regulations, Health & Safety through the CSCS Card System.

CONTRACT PRACTICE AND LAW
